Tin Star Ranch has 5 guesthouses, with accommodations for groups of up to 8 persons. The guesthouses are rustic 1880's buildings restored and decorated, in and out, with antique furnishings of the Old West. Each has a Jacuzzi tub and/or extra-large shower, kitchenette, and refrigerator.
All guesthouses are built and furnished in the Old West tradition - all designed to make you feel comfortable and at home. With all of your modern needs taken care of, yet you still feel the ambience of the old west style.
RANCH HOUSE
The Ranch House is a two-story, three-bedroom, two-bath German-style rock home, approximately 2051 sq. ft. of living area. It has a large rock patio in back, and a porch in front to enjoy the beautiful views. The Ranch House has spacious adjoining living and dining rooms with a fireplace as the focal point. The downstairs bedroom is a combination German-Mexican decor with an 1800's queen-size bed and a bath with a large over-sized tiled shower. Negotiating the typically German narrow stairs to the upper level brings one to the two second-story bedrooms. One bedroom has two charming double-size antique-painted wooden beds and an enclosed tub with shower. The other bedroom is furnished with a spacious black wrought iron king-size bed and generous closet. The Ranch House has sleeping accommodations for up to eight persons, a flat screen television/DVD, and a full kitchen with a limited amount of cooking equipment.
FRONTIER CABIN
The FRONTIER CABIN is a log and fachwerk cabin, approximately 610 sq. ft of living that has a large porch, which wraps half way around the cabin. Inside are two comfy chairs placed to enjoy the limestone fireplace and satellite television/DVD. The coffee bar has a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. A unique copper sink is also found. The bed in the bedroom has a black iron king-size bed. There is a large whirlpool tub in the bedroom with a handheld shower. The bathroom has a large shower.
HOMESTEAD GUESTHOUSE
The Homestead Guesthouse is the first cabin that was built on the property and has an obvious Fredericksburg design. It is a medium-sized cabin, approximately 1130 sq. ft of living area, with plenty of space for you and your family to enjoy. It includes nice kitchenette and dining areas with a cozy living room and a rock fireplace. Unwind in the evening before you retire to the comfortable bedrooms. The limestone rock is prominent on the porch, which overlooks the pond and has countryside views. Enter the cabin through an old German etched glass door.
The living room of the Homestead Guesthouse, with its Mexican tile floors has two handsome recliners placed to enjoy the limestone wood-fireplace or watch the satellite television/DVD. A mounted longhorn accents the high beams ceilings. Enjoy cooking in the kitchen, which has an antique rustic cabinet and counter. There is a stovetop, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave and small refrigerator. A unique kitchen sink is created from granite. Enjoy visiting around the harvest table which seats four.
A large bedroom offers an elaborate queen-size bed crafted from wood. Enjoy the large whirlpool tub located in the bedroom. An armoire and various other special antiques are found in the wonderful room. The bathroom has a large limestone shower.
The upstairs loft bedroom has two stairways – inside are very steep stairs, which are typical of the old German stairs and an outside stairway. Upstairs has a queen-size bed and half bath.
PIONEER HOUSE
The fachwerk constructed PIONEER HOUSE has approximately 564 sq. ft of living area with a porch that wraps around the cabin providing a full view of the countryside. Inside is a high-beamed living room with a limestone rock fireplace and unique gun-port windows. Distinctive historic wooden doors divide the living room and bedroom, which has a king-size iron bed. The bath has a large whirlpool tub and separate shower. A coffee bar is found in the corner of the living room and has a cook-top, microwave, small refrigerator, coffeemaker, and satellite television.
SETTLER’S CABIN
The SETTLER'S CABIN is a large log and fachwerk cabin with approximately 912 sq. ft. of living area with sleeping accommodations both upstairs and downstairs. A porch wraps halfway around the cabin providing a comfortable place to let the cares of the world melt away. The living room has a large limestone rock wood-burning fireplace. Two chairs are placed to enjoy the fireplace and the satellite television/DVD. An antique harvest table has four unique chairs made of hides and horns, which are exact replicas of Theodore Roosevelt’s chairs at his hunting lodge in Montana. A stove top, coffeemaker, toaster, and small refrigerator are found in the kitchenette.
An awesome antique wood door opens into the downstairs bedroom which includes the television. An iron queen-size bed is placed to overlook the large alluring whirlpool tub. The tub is framed with limestone rock and the water enters the tub through a waterfall found on the wall. An adjacent bath has Mexican tile and offers an over-size shower and pedestal sink.
You will enter through an outside stairway, which was common with the German Sunday houses. There are two twin-size beds and a bathroom with a shower and a small unique sink.

GUEST HOUSE OFFICE/STORAGE
The OFFICE/STORAGE building is approximately 3875 sq. ft. Its exterior design is also in the Old West Style with a long covered porch. Approximately one third of the building houses the office which includes a very nice lobby area and private office. The balance of the building is used as storage, workshop and laundry/mechanical.
CHURCH REPLICA
A replica of an old-time Church adds charm and appeal to the setting.
